Pacific Heights Townhouse

A Neo-Georgian townhouse, once formal and inward-looking, now welcomes light and life. We worked with McGriff Architects to tailor the home to the needs of a young family, opening up once-dark corridors and creating fluid connections across all four floors. A pale palette, paired with rich textures and finishes, provides a quiet backdrop to the sculptural central staircase. Vintage Murano glass, travertine and marble define the dining room, while the kitchen, serving as the home’s central hub, looks out across sweeping views of San Francisco Bay.

Upstairs, the primary suite is composed in quiet layers of wool, cashmere and embroidered textiles, while the children’s rooms play with dusty-rose and azure hues. The penthouse adopts earthier tones to highlight the panoramic vistas. A stately grande dame now offers a new way of living in the city.
